Chakra Meditation – Getting the Right Balance

According to research, our life revolves around feelings and emotions. This is because the many things we do in life bring out different emotions. Some emotions are negative in nature since they cause anxiety, stress and other pressures of life. To deal with such emotions, early researchers brought forward the concept of meditation. Chakra meditation is one of the types of meditation. When done well, it brings chakra balancing. Finally, you get chakra healing.

So, let us understand chakra meditation. Energy centers of our bodies are called chakras. Our physical and mental wellbeing is affected if the chakras are blocked. Different colors depict different chakras. This makes it different from other chakras. Examples are red and orange. An example is the red colored root chakra.

Now, let us understand the different chakras that must not be blocked for chakra clearing. First, there is the red colored root chakra. It is located at the base of the spinal cord. You will be strong and secure if the root chakra is balanced. You will have a weak immune system, weakness and fear if it is not. Second, we have the sacral chakra. It is orange in color and found below the belly button. If balanced, you will be happy and friendly. When unbalanced, you will suffer from sexual difficulties and low motivation levels.

Located between the ribcage and navel is the red colored solar plexus chakra. When balanced, you will have more energy and be productive. On the other hand, an imbalanced solar plexus chakra can cause insecurities, procrastinations, reduced energy levels and digestive problems. The heart chakra on the other hand is green. Love is the theme of this chakra that is located in the heart. A balanced heart chakra leads to ease of forming emotional connections, love bonds and spiritual awareness. If blocked, it leads to loneliness, hatred and chest pains.

The blue colored throat chakra is located in the throat. A balanced throat chakra leads to clear communication If it is imbalanced, social anxiety and tension while talking can arise. The third eye chakra on the other hand is located on the forehead and is indigo in color. Our communication with the universe is good if it is balanced. If not, anxiety, headaches and depression may occur.

The violet crown chakra is the last one of the chakras. Located at the top of the head, this chakra must be balanced for us to be open-minded and accept divine guidance.
